Gordon Ward
Racing to English contains over 350 language teaching activities in the form of Word documents that you can print out and use with your pupils/students.

The activities have been developed for children and adults learning English (EAL, ESL, ESOL or EFL).  They encourage focused language work and promote group work and learner interaction.   The activities are at beginner and intermediate level and are divided into three stages: 'Beginning', 'Starting Stories' and 'Talking and Reading'.

They have been successfully used with pupils at both primary and secondary level and with adults who are learning English. They have also been used with pupils/students with hearing impairment, with those who have particular learning needs and with whole primary school classes.
